Duties
- Pull parts for the parts counter, technicians, proactive maintenance sales orders, and truck stock.
- Facilitate the transfer of parts to additional warehouse locations.
- Maintain inventory stock levels.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Create part stock lists for designated manufacturers.
- Utilize in-house computer software to transfer/ship parts and put stock away that is either ordered or transferred in.
- Keep and verify records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Attach shipping labels on packed stencils or cartons; identify shipping information on goods.
- Post shipping charges and weights, and affix postage.
- Examine outgoing shipments and make sure they conform with specifications.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials as well as supplies.
- Deliver parts to job sites and pick up parts from supply houses.
- Assist with various tasks in warehouse at direction of Branch Operations Manager.
- Periodically assist on larger field jobs.
- Organize orders for Service Technicians for future jobs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Clean driving record/ability to operate company vehicles.
- Effective listening, written, and oral communication.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Dependable
- Adapts quickly to priority changes
- Able to work independently with some direction.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility with hours worked in seasons of large work volume.
